I would like to share with you my experience of having my tonsils removed at the age of 40, and how I made the decision to have them removed.
Every year, my tonsils swelled and I suffered from high fever.
I have been told by my doctor that my tonsils are larger than others, and since I was a child, I have had swollen tonsils and high fevers three or four times a year, causing me to miss school and work. I have no motivation at all, I get chills and feel dull. Every time I go to the hospital, they palpate my tonsils and say, “Your tonsils are swollen! I was told that my tonsils were swollen. Every time I went to the hospital, I was given antibiotics, and it took about a week before I was completely healed. As I got older, the high fever became more and more painful. I decided to have it removed! I decided.
I was advised to have my tonsils removed by my doctor.
Ever since I was a little girl, when I had my tonsils swollen and asked the doctor to examine them, he would say, “Your tonsils are big. They’re swollen! You should have them removed! I was always told, “Take them out! I couldn’t make a decision just because I heard that a part of my body would be removed, and I was 40 years old. The doctor carefully explained to me whether or not it would be a problem to have my tonsils removed, and I also personally looked up testimonials on the Internet. I was convinced and decided to have my tonsils removed.
I always had swollen tonsils during consecutive holidays such as New Year’s and summer vacations, and my vacations turned into recuperation.
When I’m working, I feel that the probability of my tonsils swelling is lower than when I’m on vacation, probably because I’m more relaxed (personal opinion). On the other hand, when you are on vacation, such as during the year-end and New Year holidays, summer vacation or consecutive holidays, you are more likely to get swollen tonsils because you are more relaxed. I wanted to make the most of my vacation, so I decided to get them removed! I made a decision.
